RDS certification

The Responsible Down Standard (RDS) is developed under the leadership of a global non-profit organization, Textile Exchange (TE), to ensure that the down and feathers used in products are from animals that have not suffered any unnecessary harm.

TE hopes that this standard can be used to reward and influence the down and feather industry to encourage respect for the humane treatment of ducks and geese; On the other hand, the standard can also become a tool for companies to ensure the ingredients in their products and make accurate statements, as well as a tool for consumers to identify responsible down ingredients.

RDS is a traceability certification system with six components:

2. Small farmers group module

3. Farm module

4. Transportation module

5. Textile Exchange Content Claim Standard CCS

6. Certification module for breeding and breeding poultry factory
