RAS certification

RAS: Responsible Alpaca Standard is a voluntary standard that involves the welfare of alpacas and the land they graze.

RAS requires all sites to be certified, from alpaca breeders to final business to business, and then to sellers. Usually, the stage to be certified is for clothing manufacturers or brands. Retailers (business to consumer) do not require certification.

The farm has passed the certification of RAS animal welfare, land management and social modules. The subsequent stages of the supply chain have all passed the certification required by the Content Declaration Standard (CCS).
